Partnership: GIGATONS and Wise Capital Partners

Abu Dhabi, UAE – December 9, 2024 

In a ground-breaking partnership unveiled during Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW), GIGATONS Holdings Limited (“GIGA”) and Wise Capital Partners LLP (“Wise”) have announced the launch of their new partnership. Wise will support the delivery of GIGATON’s ambitions through GIGACAPITAL – it’s specialised group investments vehicle. This collaboration aims to revolutionise and accelerate green finance and sustainable innovation, addressing the urgent global need to reduce CO₂ emissions while advancing digitalised financial solutions. 

The partnership reflects the shared and bold vision of two industry leaders. Wise Capital Partners brings its significant expertise in structuring innovative financial models and instruments and leveraging tokenisation technologies, while GIGA delivers proven, scalable net zero electric vehicle charging and critical power infrastructure solutions as well as its proprietary ‘GIGA Protocol’. The GIGA Protocol underwrites transparency, efficiency and scalability in net-zero infrastructure projects by integrating blockchain, AI and tokenised assets such as high-quality carbon credits.

Pioneering Projects to Drive Global Impact 

Under the GIGACAPITAL business, based in Abu Dhabi Global Markets, Wise will work closely with GIGA in support of many aspect of its mission to mobilise $100 billion in capital over the next decade, to fund and accelerate the rollout of net zero carbon transport and infrastructure projects worldwide. The partnership will initially focus on three transformative areas: 

Initial Investment Vehicles and Funds

(i) Demonstration of World Class Electric Vehicle Charging Projects in Abu Dhabi, and across the UAE. This will include demonstrating and scaling a variety of charging solutions, for multiple modes of transport

(ii) With our Partner, Flow Power, delivering the leading electric car and truck charging networks in Australia: Building on the success garnered in delivering the UK’s leading electric vehicle charging network, and taking this to the next level with the latest innovations in ‘sun-to-wheel’ projects and smart connected solutions that deliver a superior customer experience for multiple modes of transport

(iii) Net Zero Blockchain Mining Projects, and supporting the power requirements for AI Datacentres, in multiple locations globally: Investments in environmentally sustainable, off-grid digital assets mining operations within the United Arab Emirates.

Tokenisation

By implementing blockchain-enabled tokenisation of assets such as RWA’s and carbon credits, GIGA aims to enhance market liquidity and accessibility. Projects will focus on creating secure, scalable mechanisms for transferring value and managing tokenised assets, leveraging distributed ledger technology to underpin traceability, and fostering more accessible participation in environmental markets.

Technological Innovation

 Leveraging advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain, GIGA is developing scalable solutions that address the challenges created by these energy hungry applications. These include initiatives in resource management optimisation, emissions monitoring, and net zero energy adoption. By integrating these technologies, GIGA is creating adaptive, data-driven platforms that support the transition to a sustainable global economy.
